Office Manager (part time)

Contractor
We are looking for a part-time office manager to support our growing team in San Mateo, California. In this role, you’ll be asked to be on-site 1-2 days per week to help provide various services to the team. Ideally you have some office management experience but are not currently seeking a full time role.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize events, such as offsites, hackathons and team building activities
  • Secure event, conference and additional space 
  • Organize and maintain office 
  • Serve as primary contact point with building operations staff
  • Support team travel (e.g. flights, hotels)
  • Order office supplies, snacks and meals
  • Other logistical duties that may be required

Requirements

  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including familiarity with messaging (e.g. Telegram) and team platforms (e.g. Notion)
  • Eagerness to tackle problems
