As part of the People Team for DACH, you represent Malt in our Berlin office with partners, vendors, our freelancer community, and our team members.
You are responsible for an efficient and functional office set-up and for running the daily operations of our office in Berlin to create and maintain a pleasant work environment. You will also remotely support our team in Munich with their office topics.
You take pride in successfully managing and supporting initiatives to foster a positive and engaging company and team culture at Malt DACH.

The first contrat will be a one year contract with the option of extension. 


Key responsibilities ✨

  • You ensure a friendly welcome and great care for team and visitors and organize and support meetings, trainings and events.
  • You smoothly handle all administrative tasks connected to the office operations and take care of the on-budget procurement of the right office materials and inventory.
  • You are our main point of contact for various suppliers and service providers as well as the landlord, subtenants and our central Malt facility management team.
  • You are there for our colleagues in day-to-day matters, support team events and initiatives and, as our top wellbeing manager, ensure a positive atmosphere in the office.
  • In collaboration with HR and IT, you organize the local onboarding, including welcome packs and office tours.
  • You also ensure our office operations are compliant with all health and safety regulations and training requirements.
  • You always keep your eyes open, bring new ideas to the team and support and lead special projects when needed

About you 🧑‍🚀

  • You bring 2+ years of experience in managing administration and operations for an office or comparable experience.
  • You are a proficient Microsoft Office user and familiar with working and communicating through digital tools.
  • You can communicate fluently in German and English.
  • You are a self-motivated and self-organized team player; a hands-on problem solver with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritize and remain calm also in stressful situations.
  • You love to communicate with different stakeholders to get things done cooperatively and have a natural sense of service.
