THE OPPORTUNITY
CONTEXT:
Our HR team is dedicated to delivering outstanding employee experience and creating an inclusive environment for all.
With over 20 global team members, the HR team needs to keep growing to satisfy demanding customers.
ROLE:
This part-time (bilingual) position (up to 30-40 hours per week) requires the Office Manager to be physically in the office during work hours. There could be some flexibility regarding those hours; however, there are days/times wherein the presence will be required based on office activity.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
• Greeting visitors and directing them to the right person
• Greeting and onboarding new hires (usually Monday morning)
• Ordering office supplies, lunches, and snacks; restocking office pantry/kitchen with
snacks, etc.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies, snacks, etc.
• Serve as the main conduit to building management, including coordinating building-
driven meetings and events, managing parking passes, etc.
• Maintain office seating plan.
• Ensuring that common spaces (kitchen, conference rooms, and open office spaces) are
tidy, promoting among office colleagues the need to manage this themselves
• Sort and distribute mail.
• Help in the organization and execution of office events (Thursday company-sponsored
lunches, “happy hours”, celebrations, decorations, etc.)
• Other tasks that come up that require attention for the smooth running of the office: Invoicing and supplier maintenance for location/Travel & Expense approvals for Canada
