You are…

A highly organized Office Manager with office management experience. This role is a great opportunity for someone who loves being around people, and has the imagination and ideas to go outside of what’s “common” to surprise and delight the team while bringing fun to our new office! The role is essential to the day-to-day operations of the office. You will…

  • Be the “face of the office” and the first person people see when they come in.

  • Assure the team is properly set up in the office with access and manage guests and visitors in the office.

  • Ensure that all work environments are functional, warm, inviting, & positive places to collaborate. Focusing on both big and the small stuff like the TVs being on with sports schedule and the facilities are clean, stocked, and the office is comfortable.

  • Formulating activities, including team-bonding activities, community service events, birthdays, anniversaries & the planning of annual company events.

  • Support the CEO with some admin tasks such as expense reports, calendar management, preparing presentations, ad-hoc research, and tracking/execution of tasks.

  • Manage the relationship with the building, making sure the heat/AC is at appropriate levels and IT is set up and functional.

  • Assist with real estate projects, construction, space planning & maintaining health/safety, supplies, & policy guidelines.

  • Manage BC group collaboration initiatives (strategy offsites, exec meetings, Town Hall, and all other team events), office organization, space planning, cleanliness & functionality of the Toronto office.

  • Be a point of contact for office management vendors and help design the snacks, lunch and events program. Also manage relationships and negotiate contracts with all other office vendors.
