About the role:

The People and Office Manager will be responsible for our onsite office in Dubai and will work closely with local and global leadership in delivering key people objectives. The role requires collaborating with local vendors and cross functional teams to deliver high quality and timely solutions to our employees. The role will need you to act as a trusted expert in areas of local labor law compliance and industry best practices. This role gives you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the day to day lives of our team members and enhance employee experience and engagement in a fast paced and high learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking lead in all aspects of workforce administration, including but not limited to, on-boarding, off-boarding, relocation, background checks, medical insurance, visa process, document management etc.
  • Work with the global recruitment team to create an deliver engaging recruitment process
  • Work with he global people ops team to accurately maintain employee data on the HRIS system
  • Guide employees on various people policies and help people managers navigate any queries around the same
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and processes to maintain compliance
  • Coordinate with local vendors and government agencies for visa and labor compliance related process and queries
  • Creating and setting budgets for ongoing office and facility needs
  • On-board the right vendors partners for smooth running and maintenance of the facility
  • Coordinate with building management to ensure a safe and clean working environment
  • Coordinate with the regional IT team to ensure IT assets (laptops, routers, access points, etc) are procured and maintained on time
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required

Requirements

      • Good understanding of the local labor and compliance requirements
      • Experience of handling office management responsibilities
      • Bias for action, execution focused and target driven
      • Good networking and negotiation skills
      • Strong work ethics, high accountability and ownership of work
      • Ability to solve problems, work autonomously and provide timely and effective solutions
      • Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality
