Office Management Specialist

As an Office Management Specialist, you would be providing support with the daily management and general administration for the Croatia office. You will assist management and all visitors to the company by effectively handling a variety of office tasks and providing professional assistance via phone, mail and e-mail.

Your playing field:

  • Act as the key point of contact for all visitors, suppliers, and employees. 
  • Coordination of daily office services and administrative business activities (incoming/outgoing mail, office supplies, deliveries).
  • Updating the Company website and intranet with prepared materials.
  • Written and verbal correspondence with suppliers, business partners and other associates (telephone, fax, e-mail, mail).
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies and verifying receipt of supplies. 
  • Support in arranging events, trainings, seminars, organize and schedule meetings.
  • Draft travel itineraries and book travel arrangements, dinners and transfers for employees and external customers.
  • Provide relevant information by answering external customer questions and requests.
  • Carry out any ad-hoc administrative and office-related tasks or projects according to business needs.

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

  • Experienced.  You have a Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field and you have at least 1 year experience in an office or service oriented environment.
  • Tech Savvy. Good knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Advanced organizational skills. We already assume that organization and coordination are something you find joy in it.
  • One Team. You have an energetic, positive, motivating personality and work well both independently and within a team. 
  • Self-driven. You are an eager and motivated professional who can identify potential needs and gaps combined with being an advocate for collaboration to get better results while also managing tight deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Management. You are an excellent communicator both in verbal and written form, and who is comfortable with being challenged. 
  • Fluent in English and Croatian (verbal and written). Our one team consists of more than 40 different nationalities working together to achieve Tipico’s mission. However, Croatia is the home of our Bookmaking team and this is how we communicate here.
