Offerings Manager - Cloud Transformation Services portfolio
Why you?
As an Offerings Manager, you are responsible for all solution definition, introduction, and iteration activities related to defining and bringing to market new solutions that fit within the overall portfolio of our Cloud Transformation Services business. Reporting to the Senior Director of Offerings, you'll work collaboratively to define, package, and price innovative high-value solutions, associated marketing programs, and thought leadership content that drive demand through the sales cycle to realize revenue and profitability. This means an end-to-end business approach.
You can grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits for various audience types. You’ll work with some of our top experts to turn their knowledge into market-facing value offerings and the content needed to fuel marketing campaigns. You’ll have a budget and access to technical experts and writers to accelerate your success, and you will measure the success of your portfolio based on top-of-the-funnel leads, revenue, gross margin, and customer satisfaction.
You are a highly collaborative, low-ego self-starter who is infinitely curious, loves to experiment, isn’t afraid to get creative with ideas to drive and innovate, and can prove ROI based on data. You must have experience leading large-scale Cloud transformations with a deep focus on database migration and modernization.
You’ll spend your time working internally and half externally - joining customer calls, talking to our partners, participating in the community. You must be a self starter - the Offerings team is small and we expect entrepreneurial thinking with respect for the necessary business processes of a company of our size.
What will you be doing?
- Develop, introduce, evaluate, and continuously improve new offerings that leverage the skills of the internal teams, technical accelerators, technology enablers, and methodologies, and streamline delivery frameworks to deliver high-value client outcomes.
- Lead the ideation process and develop and refine business cases for new portfolio offering opportunities.
- Develop strong cross-functional credibility and alliances building a shared purpose for delivering our Cloud Transformation Service solutions.
- Balance the need for making data-driven recommendations and decisions while knowing when to take a leap of faith.
- Be the expert on your offering(s) - work extensively with sales to get in front of customers to socialize new ideas, accelerate the sales cycle for your offerings and follow up with clients to get feedback, bringing that feedback into the continuous offering development process.
- Monitor the ROI and margins associated with the solution offering, and work with Engineering to continually identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and margin growth.
- Develop positioning, packaging, pricing and messaging that differentiates the Pythian solutions in the market.
- Define a set of KPIs to measure customer satisfaction, business impact, and delivery efficiency with the ability to analyze and utilize them in decision making processes.
- Be a thought leader for your portfolio area- provide content for and collaborate with marketing on the development of product descriptions, data sheets, articles, and web content, along with solution videos and demos.
- Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of your portfolio to the sales team and develop the sales tools and selling process.
- Market/competitive intelligence – provide expertise on buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; provide expertise on competitors and how to crush them.
- Collaborate with marketing on strategies to drive acquisition, lift conversion rates, increase engagement and grow revenue.
What do we need from you?
- 8+ years of experience in building, positioning, and delivering Cloud transformation solutions, ideally in technology consulting companies.
- Proven understanding of the Google Cloud service ecosystem, tooling, finOps, and cloud economics fundamentals.
- Proven understanding of relational, non-relational & cloud databases
- Proven written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled at producing content that communicates highly technical information to a range of audiences - from business and IT executives to IT technical professionals.
- Demonstrated comfort with marketing highly technical services solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and practices such as the 4 Ps of marketing.
- Deep understanding of Migration frameworks, terminologies, tooling, and deliverables.
- Ability to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
- Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Our clients are global so at times you will need to be flexible and participate in calls outside of regular working hours.
