This role is required to support our client's compliance contract by providing support and guidance to client's Korea-based OEM Partners in meeting the requirements of the Jumpstart marketing programme; and by ensuring that Partner advertising is assessed for compliance against the Jumpstart programme rules and guidelines, according to high standards of accuracy and turnaround times in line with client SLAs.
Key areas of responsibility
- Client facing
- Act as Nielsen’s first point of contact for Korean OEM Partners participating in the programme, providing Korean language support as required.
- Provide telephone, videoconferencing and e-mail support to OEM Partners based in Korea in line with OEM Support SLAs.
- Answer queries and give accurate advice to Partners on implementation of programme requirements.
- Deliver Partner training online, assisting with production of training materials where necessary.
- Proactively provide information and guidance to Partners where appropriate.
- Develop good working relationships with Partners and the client; build trust and overcome objections and obstacles to successful implementation of programme guidelines.
- Work closely with regional OEM Support Managers to ensure consistency of approach.
- Provide feedback to the client and Nielsen colleagues on Partner activity and issues affecting Partners; actively seek solutions to problems.
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge and thorough understanding of the milestone requirements of the Jumpstart marketing programme.
- Keep track of changes to the Jumpstart programme and ensure that Partners are always provided with the most accurate and up-to-date guidance.
- Support and provide cover for OEM Support Manager colleagues as required.
- Service delivery
- Perform compliance checks on global Print, Broadcast and Digital marketing activities, using bespoke in-house applications.
- Assess marketing activities against a complex set of programme rules and requirements, using judgement to apply the rules in line with the client’s overall marketing strategy. Navigate client marketing resources to locate assets and guidelines necessary to complete reviews.
- Review marketing activities in own language(s) and assist the team with reviews in other languages where necessary. Perform searches on client partner websites, applying a set of criteria to identify relevant web pages for audit.
- Capture relevant client partner web pages for audit using bespoke in-house tools.
- Validate client partner funding claims using client’s proprietary systems.
- Assess partner funding claims for accuracy and relevance, including checking invoices.
- Support Team Leader with quality control sampling of pre review work.
- Provide support to the review team and Team Leader by acting as a “go-to” person for questions related to the marketing guidelines and audit. Help to train staff and offer guidance on technical marketing requirements.
