Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health
This is a full-time position at Mission Home Health located in Cedar City, UT
*Supporting Cedar City, UT/Iron County*
Position Objective:
The occupational therapist will implement standards of care for therapy services and adhere to the Service Agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' functional status and home environment.
Develop and communicate treatment plans.
Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities.
Fabricate splints and instruct on adaptive equipment.
Train patients in the use of prosthetic/orthotic devices.
Maintain clinical records and report changes to physicians.
Coordinate with other healthcare personnel.
Attend in-services, case conferences, and meetings.
Identify and refer patients for additional home health services.
Instruct family/caregivers and healthcare personnel.
Participate in discharge planning.
Meet productivity expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
OT at Mission Home Health position requirements:
Current and valid California licensure as an OT.
Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Minimum of two years of clinical experience as an OT.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
