As one of our Security Engineers, you will join a multidisciplinary team, working together with other Security Engineers, Product Managers and Security teams. You will design, build and deliver secure, high-quality enterprise solutions across numerous initiatives within the organisation, spreading your security knowledge to an ever-expanding engineering community, increasing our security posture and helping identify and reduce our risk exposure. You will bring subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365 products into the team and help drive and deliver projects pertaining to Microsoft 365 products such as Email Security, SharePoint, Defender.
Responsibilities
- Drive security risk decisions and influence technical architecture of a secure M365 environment.
- Act as an SME for Microsoft security suite with specialist responsibilities in products such as Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365
- Embed security controls within our M365 environment
- Articulate mitigation and development techniques around emerging threats to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Create, document and deliver policies and procedures that support security requirements.
- Work with other Security Engineers on collaborative projects and deliverables that support other Security & Fraud functions and business needs.
About you:
- A deep understanding of Microsoft O365 products and experience with using them and securing them.
- Experience with securing cloud environments
- Strong experience with engineering practises and processes
- A passion for Security and a strong understanding of good security practices
- An understanding of endpoint protection and network security
- Experience building applications, scripts, pipelines or automation using modern technologies and languages such as PowerShell, YAML, Python, C#, Java, Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong communication skills
- Adept at problem-solving and creative thinking
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards
