NVH Engineer

• Conduct and complete NVH testing on vehicles, sub-systems and components as requested
• Interpret the test request
• Review and understand NVH test standards
• Operate the vehicle during data acquisition
• Provide subjective evaluations as required
• Perform NVH data post processing
• Generate test reports
• Work with Union Mechanics / Technicians
• Support process improvement actions in the organization to improve operational and economic efficiencies

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or other related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university
• 2 years of related experience – testing and NVH experience preferred
• Fundamental understanding of overall vehicle functionality
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong proficiency in MS Office tools

Preferred Requirements

• Demonstrated capability in effectively using NVH measurements and tools i.e. LMS Testlab, Matlab, Head Acoustics Artemis
• Prior experience in product management, homologation, regulations and/or NVH in an automotive company
• Proven record of demonstrating the ability to solve technical problems
• Testing and NVH experience
