Key duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and acceptable environment for patients and staff and taking appropriate action.
- Reporting incidents/ accidents/ complaints to the in-charge.
- Act in a supportive role to the Senior Staff/in-charge and to accept appropriate delegated responsibilities.
- Checking the stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level and placing orders if required.
- Changing patient’s medication as indicated by their conditions and responses.
- Adhering with the protocols, norms, rules, and regulations in order to maintain complete medical records.
- Maintaining hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with the healthcare procedures.
- To maintain a professional friendly atmosphere and create a dignified environment,
- Providing instant care during medical emergencies, like car accidents, burns, heart attacks, strokes any others.
- Ensure teamwork and complete assigned tasks and seek for help from your seniors to ensure delivery of quality care to clients.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, patients/clients and their relatives and friends.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior or Doctor.
Requirements
- Holder of Certificate in Nursing.
- Patient Management skills.
- Team worker, able to work in a multicultural environment, punctual and high integrity.
- Moderate computer knowledge / ICT skills.
- Effective organizational and intercommunication skills, and teamwork.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, and able to work flexible hours including weekend.
- Good command of both English and Swahili languages.
- Attentive to details and keen for completion.
