Overview
We seek a highly skilled numerical expert to develop and enhance quantitative models in a dynamic, automotive project environment. You will work on forecasting, simulation, and optimization problems that drive efficient production and scheduling processes. This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced mathematical techniques and state-of-the-art numerical methods to real-world planning challenges.


WHAT YOU DO

  • Predictive Analytics & Modeling: Develop robust forecasting models and predictive analytics frameworks to estimate key performance metrics using statistical and data-driven approaches.
  • Scenario Simulation & Virtual Prototyping: Design and implement simulation methodologies to generate representative virtual scenarios, supporting the evaluation of various system configurations under uncertainty.
  • Scheduling & Optimization Algorithms: Create and optimize mathematical models and algorithms to effectively schedule resources and improve overall system performance, applying techniques such as linear programming and constraint solving.
  • Data Integration & Continuous Improvement: Integrate diverse data sources to inform and refine models continuously, ensuring they remain adaptive to evolving conditions and business requirements.


WHO ARE YOU

  • Educational Qualifications: Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Technical Expertise: 
    • Proven experience in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, and optimization techniques (e.g., linear programming, constraint solvers).

    • Strong proficiency in statistical forecasting, regression analysis, and probabilistic modeling.

    • Familiarity with simulation tools and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar environments.

  • Analytical & Collaborative Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data and business challenges into actionable mathematical models.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a quantitative mindset and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Very good written and spoken English skills
