The Role:

As a Product Analyst, your role is responsible for providing analytical support within the Product Capability and Integration function. 

You will support day-to-day operations and management of core platform capabilities, while assisting in strategic initiatives aimed at developing and enhancing business payment products. The focus will be on existing account-to-account payment products, as well as expanding product capabilities to support corporate business to business (B2B) payments more broadly, including the integration of Business Payments products with other AP+ products and features.

This role collaborates closely with other Business Payments team members, as well as teams across the broader AP+ organisation. It also requires consultation with external stakeholders, including AP+ customers, member institutions, industry groups, and product end-users as needed.

Proposed Position Requirements are:

  • Demonstrated experience in analysis and end-to-end product development of account-to-account products or services, specifically within the New Payments Platform (NPP Payments) or BPAY Payments.
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies and tools across both web and native mobile app product development.
  • Experience in B2B Payments, B2C Payments and bill payments.
  • Experience working within an NPP Participant environment or a similar setting.
  • Familiarity with NPP scheme rules, operations, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including end-users.
  • Knowledge of NPP messaging, product rules, and Participant Back Office requirements.
  • Experience with account-to-account payment products.
  • Proven track record of supporting product analysis and development from ideation through to launch and beyond.
