Non-Profit Operations Manager of Haiti Mama Organization
Base salary: $60,000 – 65,000 annual salary (USD) with potential for performance bonus as determined by the Haiti Mama board of directors.

Position Summary:
Haiti Mama is seeking a driven and experienced Non-Profit Operations Manager based in New Orleans. In this full-time, hybrid, non-people leading role, you will lead strategic initiatives, oversee daily operations, and champion our mission of transforming Haitian communities. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who excels at managing complex programs and inspiring a diverse team in Haiti to achieve lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute organizational strategies to further Haiti Mama’s mission, emphasizing job creation, social programs, and expanding impact in Haiti.
- Lead, manage, and support Haitian staff, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented organizational culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards in both the USA and Haiti.
Program Management
- Oversee all Haiti Mama programs, including artisan workshops, social work services, and disability care programs.
- Track and evaluate program outcomes, identifying opportunities for innovation and improved impact.
Organizational Operations:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, donors, and clients, managing email accounts and other communications.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in nonprofit management, business, social work, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, program oversight, or a similar field.
- Deep understanding of social impact work, with a focus on social work, economic empowerment, and international development.
- Proven track record of leading teams, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results in complex, dynamic settings.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- Strong cultural sensitivity and experience working in diverse, multicultural environments.
- Proficiency in French or Haitian Creole and familiarity with Haiti are highly desirable.
