Developing Solutions for Client Environment NOC as well as SOC.
Make budget and purchasing recommendations and capacity planning in order to provide a steady, cost-effective infrastructure to meet the availability demands of the organization.
Hire, develop, and retain highly responsive and customer focused engineers to ensure the effective operation of the NOC. Manage tools, systems and procedures to ensure effective management of issues and customer satisfaction
NOC Manager will manage and provide, as needed, hands-on technical support work related to the overall health and maintenance of the organization’s multiple environments.
This position will perform tier-2 and 3 escalation support and act as the point of contact in the NOC for all inquiries from Senior Leadership and other Managers.
Comes up with innovative solutions to various networking problems and ensures that customer needs are properly defined and satisfactorily met. Implements and evaluates the working of networking systems and stays abreast of new technologies emerging in the industry.
Requirements
At least 15 years of Experience in Relevant Field
Bachelor's or Master's degree with qualifications in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering, information technology or related fields.
Thorough understanding of IP Networks, including VLANs
Firewalls, switches, routers and other network equipment (Cisco, Fortinet)
Well Versed with OEM portfolio from Juniper, Aruba HP, Cisco, ManageEngine, Avaya, Polycom
Should Have good understanding on Networking technologies like SDWAN, MPLS, SDDC, LAN, WAN, VPLS, VLAN, EMS Solutions
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to learn new products and network technologies quickly, often without the focus of formalized training.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be able to communicate about networking issues effectively and in a comprehensible manner both to clients and employees
