As a Customer Residential Service Consultant, you will play a role in providing exceptional service to our residential customers. You will be responsible for answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, processing information, and collecting payments. Your primary focus will be on maintaining customers for our electric, communications, water, and wastewater services.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide in-person and phone-based customer support, addressing questions and concerns related to service options, billing, and account information.

Sales: Actively promote our various services, including new customer sign-ups and service upgrades.

Order Processing: Create, process, and schedule service orders for changes, additions, or repairs, and collaborating with other departments as needed.

Administrative Tasks: Complete essential administrative duties, such as preparing correspondence, verifying information, and conducting credit checks.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in providing excellent customer service.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with telecommunications and/or utility industry knowledge is preferred. Proficiency in using various software programs, including NISC-iVUE, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams, is essential.

Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and resolution skills to address customer inquiries and concerns efficiently.
