We are looking for a skilled MSP (Managed Service Provider) Technician to join our team and provide exceptional technical support and maintenance for our MSP clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and security of our customers IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Work with the sales team to meet with current and potential customers to better understand their MSP needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues for MSP customers, including hardware, software, network, and security problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as firewalls, routers, and wireless access points.
- Manage and maintain workstations, virtual servers, and physical servers for customer environments.
- Provide cyber security support, including identifying and resolving security threats and implementing security best practices.
- Document all work performed, including tickets, projects, and solutions.
- Some travel within the state is expected.
- Provide out-of-hours on-call support for the voice and data networks, ensuring continuous network uptime.

- Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure AD

- Current cyber security threats and prevention
- Event analysis leveraging SIEM tools
- Incident investigation and response skill set

Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; A Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Two or more years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in an MSP environment
- CompTIA A+ certification is required. Additional certifications such as Network+, Security+, or Server+ are a plus
