[Job Description]
1 Understand business goals and system requirements through engaging with project teams and customer stakeholders
2 Work effectively at different levels to define business needs.
3 Develop detailed designs, implement and test complex solutions using both custom developed software applications and configured products that meet client requirement
4 Collaborate with project teams and customer stakeholders during IT, FT, SIT and UAT phases.
5 Coordinate project testing activities and ensure the system quality by performing regression testing
6 Provide documentation and report test results to project teams and customer stakeholders
7 Work with customers on system troubleshooting to fix errors, adapt it to customer requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces
[Required work experience and Skills]
1 6-10 years of testing experience (preferably in insurance projects)
2 A minimum of JLPT N2/N3 certified and business/conversational Japanese skills to conduct discussions with Japanese stakeholders
3 Good knowledge and experience in Jira/Confluence tools
4 Proficient in testing automation tools like Jira X-Ray, PostMan
5 Good understanding of SQL and experience in writing procedures
6 Strong communication skills
7 Business English skills to converse comfortably with foreign engineers in Japan and offshore engineers
