Position Overview:
We’re looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join our B2B fulfillment engineering team to build and maintain a highly scalable and super secured backend system that supports global order traffic. The fulfillment system performs as a data hub connecting with and powering multiple business unions like Factory, Shipping, Customer Success, Finance/Accounting, E-commerce, Data etc.
Responsibilities for Backend Engineer will include:
- Work as part of a Scrum team to design and implement secure, scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant services using our core web technologies – Golang, GCP.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement complex projects that require comprehensive and in-depth analysis and understanding of the stakeholders’ requirements.
- Write clean, efficient code to the latest industry standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, multimedia integration or other relevant training
- 1+ years of work experience in software development
- Good understanding of the following:
- Microservices architecture
- Modern programming languages like Golang
- Modern databases and storage systems
- Containerized deployments using docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud environments – AWS or GCP
- Code versioning tools, such as Git
- Knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs
