What will you be doing in this role:
- Manage and configure network switches (L2/L3, Cisco), including network cabling, VLANs, and IP addressing.
- Oversee wireless LAN infrastructure (Cisco), implementing security methods, guest/corporate networks, and QoS for voice and video.
- Administer load balancing solutions (F5) in high-availability environments.
- Maintain secure network environments with Cisco ASA (FirePOWER) and Check Point firewalls, managing firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and internet access.
- Manage Cisco collaboration systems, including Unified Communications Manager, voice gateways, codecs, dial plans, call routing, and QoS setup.
- Support Cisco collaboration endpoints (IP phones, Jabber, video conferencing), configuring common features like call parking and shared lines.
- Administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM and Presence, handling SIP call flows, codec negotiation, and media setup.
- Oversee Cisco TelePresence Management Suite, managing video conferencing infrastructure, scheduling, resource management, and integration with Unified Communications components.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- A university degree (minimum of 4 years of higher education) following secondary school
- At least 5 years of IT professional experience, of which minimum 3 years in networking
- Advanced knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite
- Advanced knowledge of network encryption
- Advanced/in depth knowledge of network configurations
- Advanced/in depth knowledge of the domains of Internet-Protocol based Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) administration, firewall administration
- Advanced knowledge of firewall/VPN configuration and troubleshooting including but not limited to DNS, VLAN, IP routing, LAN, WAN, and Site to Site VPN
- Network professional certification at the level of Cisco CCNP or equivalent
- Good knowledge of IP Cisco IP telephony architecture and configuration and videoconferencing architecture
- In depth knowledge of the concepts related to load-balancing, firewalls, switches (L2/L3), redundancy, IP addressing
- Proficiency of spoken and written English at least at B2 level
