Job Summary:

One of our client looking for a skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer - L2 to join our IT security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting security infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of protection for our organization's network. This role requires hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security tools, along with a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
• Perform security incident investigation, analysis, and remediation.
• Respond to and resolve security-related support tickets and escalations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and apply security patches.
• Assist in implementing security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with IT and security teams to enhance overall network security posture.
• Perform log analysis and network traffic monitoring for threat detection.
• Document security incidents, solutions, and best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in network security or IT security operations.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point, etc.).
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM, endpoint security, and threat intelligence tools.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and security frameworks.
• Experience with security incident handling and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Certifications like CCNA Security, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or Palo Alto PCNSE are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
