Network Security Engineer

Porto, Portugal

The project consists of carrying out studies and maintaining operational conditions of the Security and Internet architectures of BPCE-IT, used for all servers located in our datacenters, out of private cloud. Our service INA oversees design, build and run of the infrastructures used to provide security and network services, but we are not in charge of security policies or flow. Our main technologies are F5 load balancers, Fortinet firewall, and Skyhigh proxies, and we also manage Ubika WAF, Trellix IPS, ISE access control, and AnyConnect ASA vpn.

We are looking for an INET Security Expert (local contract) to join our Infrastructure, Production and Security IT business unit in Porto.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

The team deal with:

- Design of solutions for new technologies or versions, client project and needs, capacity planning, resiliencies,

- Upgrade and deployment of security devices on the network

- Supervision and support of the security devices

- Automation of processes and controls on our perimeter

Main Technical Requirements:

· More than 5 years of experiences working on security infrastructure solutions (firewalls, load-balancing, Proxies, WAF);

· The main technology aimed for this post is F5 Load Balancer, module LTM We are searching for a real expertise and experience on F5. Use of F5 only to renew certificates or manage simple vip is clearly not enough.

· We are also interested in knowledge on our other critical products: at less one of Fortinet Firewall, SkyHigh proxies, or Ubika WAF

· It is useful but not mandatory to have knowledge on our secondary products: Trellix IPS, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA AnyConnect, F5 GTM

· Knowledge about DNS, Lan, IP, cabling, switching.

· Knowledge about automation / NETOPS (Ansible, Python, Perl)

· Knowledge about supervision (Splunk, Centreon)

 

Other requirements:

· English level B2

· French B2 is a plus (team is localized in Toulouse, Paris, and Porto)

· Good communication skills

· Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Autonomous, while capable of working within a team

· Fast and adaptable learner.
