Job Title: Network Operations Engineer
Job Location: 12077 Convention Center Concourse, Atlanta, GA 30337
Duties: Analyze complex issues across networks, ranging from automated tooling to hardware and network failures. Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate and minimize risks. Participate and improve escalation and emergency responses with a detailed postmortem and address issues systematically to prevent future occurrences. Resolve company network outages and recommend and perform remedial actions to eliminate similar future troubles. Maintain and support existing infrastructure and oversee research, planning, design, implementation. Support existing and emerging infrastructure technologies in a complex environment and solve system problems.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s experience. Experience with various industry standards and Fortinet enterprise networking. Experience with web application firewalls, load balancers, and proxies. Experience with Routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. Experience analyzing packet captures and protocol analysis. Experience with tools to collect network statistics utilizing protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, etc.). Experience developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment. Experience with TCP/IP, common protocols, and standards. Experience with 802.1x, firewalls, security policies, and access lists. Experience with software upgrades and device maintenance. Experience with network virtualization eco-systems including VMWare, Nutanix or experience with data center architectures (servers, networking, storage, physical hardware, virtualization, etc.). The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.
