We're looking for a proactive and bright Network Engineer to join our Professional Services Team.
You will:
- Be part of a dynamic and motivated team of infrastructure engineers, that design and manage the operation, performance, and availability of our internal systems and client networks
- Monitor, manage and support (tier 2 and 3) complex network infrastructures globally, including vendor escalation
- Strive to automate the management of our networks
- You will predominantly work with Fortinet, but also Palo Alto, Cisco and Meraki
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve current monitoring and achieve zero support goal
Requirements
You have:
- 2+ years of experience in Network Engineering
- Experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN, IPSec
- Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco and Meraki
- Experience in monitoring systems and tooling (SNMPv3, Netflow, Zabbix/Nagios)
- Knowledge of UTM and NGFW (security profiles, SSL inspection)
- Understanding of OSI layers
- A customer focus, with outstanding customer service and communications skills
Great if you have:
- Knowledge of Azure cloud networking
- Experience working in a network operations centre (NOC) and supporting production wide-area network
- Desire to learn or suggest ideas for improvements using future / next-gen technology
- Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence)
- Certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE and higher
- Scripting skills
- Experience with DevOps - Ansible/Terraform orchestration
- Some experience with Azure DevOps
