Responsibility:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in network administration in managing a mid / large enterprise network
- Hands on experience in performing maintenance, and upgrade of networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and network management systems.
- Monitoring network connectivity and implementing corrective measures for throughput and performance improvement.
- Experience in network monitoring tools such as Solar winds and Panorama
- Provide technical support to various departments and users with regards to LAN/MAN/WAN (local/metropolitan/wide area networks) and cloud-based networks (e.g., VPN).
- Liase with vendors, Product support teams such as Cisco, Palo Alto and Riverbed to resolve the equipment related issues on priority.
- Experience in installation and configuration of Cisco devices such as network switches, wireless access point devices
- Experience in managing LAN security and network performance monitoring and improvements
- Skilled in providing technical support services related to firewall policy and configuration issues.
- Experience in Datacenter operations including hands on experience in routing and Switching.
- Knowledge on ITIL process standards such as Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Technical Certification : CCNA (Cisco certified Network Administrator) is mandatory
- Academic Qualification : Engineering – Degree in Electronics and Communication (or) Computer Science
- Soft skills : Good Communication skills and Positive attitude
