In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and redundant network infrastructure while ensuring compliance with stringent security standards.
- Inventory existing infrastructure, including servers, workstations, CCTV systems, and security systems.
- Create comprehensive documentation of current systems and develop plans for future infrastructure needs.
- Design and implement a tiered Active Directory model with network segregation and security enhancements.
- Install and configure network switches, firewalls, and backbone equipment (Cisco, Fortinet).
- Deploy redundant and secure ICT infrastructure, including datacenters, storage (NetApp), and server virtualization (VMware ESXi).
- Integrate IPsec, datadiodes, and advanced security protocols to meet NSS17-T compliance.
- Migrate servers and applications to a secure virtualized environment integrated with Active Directory.
- Harden system security for servers, workstations, and applications, deploying MS ADDS services and PKI infrastructure.
- Manage and monitor servers, network devices, and workloads using tools like MS SCCM, SCOM, ELK, PRTG, and Syslog.
- Deploy SIEM solutions and run regular vulnerability scans (Tenable.sc, Thor) to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor Fortinet firewalls for suspicious activity and resolve security issues promptly.
- Participate in technical meetings with vendors and stakeholders to align on project needs.
- Request and evaluate price quotations, oversee procurement, and approve orders for new equipment.
Requirements
Expert knowledge of switching and firewalling technologies, particularly Cisco and Fortinet.
Strong understanding of network protocol systems (e.g., NTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP).
Experience with network logging systems and tools (e.g., Syslog, SIEM).
Proficiency in administering Linux (RedHat, CentOS) and Windows servers (Windows Server 2019).
Hands-on experience with Active Directory (WSUS, AGPM, PKI) administration.
Solid experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi and Hyper-V.
Familiarity with NetApp administration for storage solutions.
ITIL knowledge, particularly in incident and problem management.
Ability to draft technical content for documentation and knowledge bases.
Strong focus on security standards, including their evaluation and implementation.
Experience handling backups and system restore operations.
Good knowledge of English
