The Visa Client Services team develops and supports Visa's contact center and client support applications, which are used by our business partners to service our Visa clients worldwide on a 24 by 7 basis.
The Senior Software Engineer – Operations position within the team is an individual contributor role based in our Warsaw, Poland office. The successful candidate is expected to be a .NET applications support and maintenance subject matter expert within the Cardholder Applications Development team. The selected candidate will be fully responsible for both production support and operational excellence of services built on full stack technologies.
Responsibilities:
Providing level 2 and 3 support to resolve incidents in accordance with the agreed service level agreement.
As part of the Operations team, maintaining both internal and vendor-managed applications to meet our standards.
Ensuring all data privacy requirements are captured and kept current in the Data Privacy Tool.
Remediating security vulnerabilities reported for the application within the given timeframe.
Performing tasks in line with IAM policies and procedures.
Collaborating with vendors and the Operational Resiliency team to conduct service impact assessments and define recovery metrics for applications.
Reporting noncompliance situations
Ensuring operational excellence for full stack services.
On need basis provide support during off-work hours to ensure critical and high-priority incidents are resolved within the service level agreement.
Maintaining strong communication to keep the project team and stakeholders informed.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
