We are looking for a .NET Developer to join the product team, part of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) global division.
This product team has been a pioneer by designing 20 years ago an in-house solution for an object-oriented rapid application development framework that allows development teams to create object models and map them into a relational database, but also to create build-in user interfaces.
This product was such a success that is being used to build hundreds of financial applications used in Front, Middle and Back globally offices of our client.
It started as a C++ fat client application for Windows only, then it was refactored as a two-tier application with a Windows & Unix backend. Recently it was fully migrated to .Net and fitted into a CI/CD pipeline including automatic testing on AWS public cloud.
The technical stack is currently .NET Framework + .NET Core (soon to be just “.NET), Tibco EMS and Kafka for messaging, GraphQL for interface with other systems, Oracle for persistence and Specflow + FlaUI for automated testing. The CI/CD pipeline is based on GIT, Jenkins and AWS.
As a .NET Developer you will:
- Develop new components and features, maintain and evolve existent ones according to the team priorities and product roadmap.
- Active role on team software quality assurance, best practices and agile methodology.
- Work on definition and implementation of automated tests for a client-server architecture.
- Coaching junior team members.
- Work closely with business sponsors to ensure the solution meets the needs.
- Take responsibility of the software delivery by ensuring quality and scope expectations are met.
- Contribute and take ownership of the technical design and ensure all aspects of the system architecture are well documented.
- Work closely with partner technology teams and to collaborate effectively.
- Technically refine epics and user stories with the team.
- Write documentation, prepare and perform presentations of new features, components or technology.
