Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a .Net Developer.

This position is currently hybrid, 2 days onsite and 3 days work from home. Work schedule is subject to change based on client needs.

How Your Role Will Make an Impact

  • Provides software engineering services for the analysis, design, development and maintenance of complete web-based application systems supporting the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) and Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) programs.
  • Develops applications in ASP.NET Webforms and ASP.NET MVC using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 (or later) product suite and C# programming language.
  • Develops the Graphical User Interface (GUI) utilizing HTML5 standard for page structure, CSS and Bootstrap for styling, certain client-side technologies for efficiency such as JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Utilizes AJAX for targeted server data requests vs. full-page rendering.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains standard reports using modern reporting tools like Crystal Reports (2013 or later), and non-standard reports or data retrieval using various tools based in Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Performs unit-level testing of application products to validate readiness of the product to enter into the formal testing phase.
  • Adheres to established software Configuration Management standards by utilizing Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) source code repository for code check-in/out.
  • Provides input to assist in formulating test scripts and plans for formal testing of software products.  Provides information, guidance, procedures and/or other applicable documentation to assist independent testers in the QA testing process.
  • Responds to Test Defect (TD) reports by analyzing the use-case situation reported and takes appropriate action to resolve the defect.
  • Ensures products comply with Cyber Security directives and guidance from Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DoN) authorities, and are specifically in-compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) instructions for the application (APP STIG).
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of  back-end database objects and stored procedures using Structured Query Language (SQL), Data Dictionary Language (DDL) for Oracle 12c (or later) database management systems that are required by the NETFOCUS component applications.
  • Coordinates with the Database Administration (DBA) group on issues that require higher user-privilege to address or implement, such as table space maintenance, schema creation, restarting of application pool, and/or for assistance in trouble-shooting issues of a systemic nature.

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:

  • Clearance: Must possess and be able to maintain an active Secret Clearance. 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 6 years of general experience in software, systems/network architecture, project management, or cloud infrastructure.
  • 6 years experience in ASP.NET/C#, SQL, JavaScript (AJAX, jQuery).

  • Minimum Certifications
  • Position is a component of the DoD Cyber Workforce (CWF) and may be satisfied by either of the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Business, Engineering, or Physical Science.
  • OR a CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, or equivalent certification.
