We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Core Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on middleware and backend development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, extensive experience with Entity Framework Core and an excellent understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
This position involves responsibilities ranging from assisting with the conversion of an MVC application, to refactoring and optimizing our database, and collaborating with the front-end design team. The ability to communicate openly and effectively is paramount and the length of the engagement will be at least one year.
- Assist a small team in upgrading and modernizing a custom MVC/SQL application.
- Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and translate them into functional code to support front end development.
- Designing database schemas and code to support new features.
- Re-factor existing database schemas to work with new or revised UI functionality.
- Use your current experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to promote learning throughout the team.
- Ensure code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews.
- You will be part of a cross-functional team to ensure execution of project deliverables is on schedule and of highest quality standards.
- Develop new features and functionality for the platform according to customer requirements.
- Clearly communicate product ideas and requirements to all levels of the organization.
- 2-5+ years of experience in technologies including .NET/C#, Angular, MVC, and Entity Framework Core 7.
- Strong skills in front-end technologies particularly Angular and Microsoft MVC.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Excellent understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and patterns.
- Experience in backend and API development as well as user interface design, architecture, and development operations.
- Experience with source control using Git.
- Healthcare experience would be a bonus.
- Experience in AWS/Cloud environments and DevOps including CI/CD, all a plus.
- Ability to think critically and creatively and to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
- BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or Science fields.
