.NET Backend Developer - Mid or Senior

We're looking for a .NET BACKEND DEVELOPER to join our team!

As a Backend Engineer you’ll be part of the development of core platform systems that expose data for desktop and mobile applications.

We’re looking for engineers with an appetite for solving complex and interesting problems to world-class standards.

Note: Depending on the project and our clients' needs, you may get the chance to pack your bags and take off every now and then. Typically, we estimate travel time to be between 0% and 15%.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Developing performant, resilient and secure services/functions;
• Building and handling asynchronous and event-driven workflows;
• Creating testable code and making testing a priority;
• Being passionate, self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose;
• Being a vocal team player with the ability to challenge the technical landscape;
• Caring about all the steps your code goes through from your machine to production.

Requirements

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge of Web development using C#, ASP.NET MVC or .NET version 4.5 or newer;
• Usage of SQL server;
• Hands on experience writing unit and integration tests;
• Design capabilities, following SOLID principles using C#;
• Experience working on solutions hosted in AWS cloud environments and experience with serverless;
• Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with Git and pair programming;
• Experience in understanding of behaviour-driven development and domain-driven design;
• Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript is a plus;
• Experience in commercial systems and range planners is an advantage;
• Testing at all levels and breaths and depths. You love TDD!
• Practice and promote Agile methodology;
• Fluency in English.
