We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Intern to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining a comfortable, safe, and secure environment for our residents, their families, visitors, and partners. The Maintenance Intern will assist in a variety of maintenance tasks and projects, contributing to the operational efficiency of our facilities while gaining valuable skills and experience.  This assignment will last 3 – 6 months with a potential for permanent position.

Travel will be required to Cincinnati, Columbus, and Toledo locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general maintenance tasks to upkeep facilities.
  • Support projects aimed at enhancing safety and comfort for residents and visitors.
  • Learn and apply essential maintenance skills under the guidance of experienced staff.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a technical program related to maintenance or facilities management.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance practices including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
  • Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
