Role Overview / Who are we looking for…
The main responsibilities of the role would be the oversight of the disposal of solid waste from Daniels Healthcare customers, via engagement with 3rd party companies. The role would have responsibility for leading and managing the solid waste collection and disposal. The role would include managing joint bids with the Daniels Healthcare team, negotiating price for provision of services with the customers and 3rd party waste providers. Ongoing relationship management and effective delivery of customer service levels and excellence that Daniels is known for is critical to success in this role.
You would be a hands on individual, driven to succeed and enjoys engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
What you will do
· Managing 3rd party subcontractors (solid waste, shredding etc)
· Manage pricing, serviceability and profitability around bids
· Reviewing contracts (current and new)
· Supporting admin team with billing and delivery of services and issues
· Liaising with customers
· Bringing innovative and creating solutions to customer settings
· Travel to customers as required
Candidate Profile
Skills & Qualifications
· Strong background in handling solid-waste bids and customers
· You’ll bring experience of high volume B2B sales (ideally within the waste industry) and can share your track record of results in winning new business.
· Have the ability to deeply understand how to best help our customers,
· You communicate well, and your written and verbal style when interacting with customers is as friendly, as it is consultative.
· You’re able to maintain prospect and lead information in our CRM system, ensuring you use our systems and resources to support your success.
· You’ll be a skilled presenter, able to engage customers
· Whilst experience in the waste arena is important, also important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment.
