Job Objective:
- Coordinate national sales activities and ensure the execution of the commercial strategy in order to meet customer needs and increase turnover at the national level.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive the execution and implementation of Dangote Cement Côte d'Ivoire's business strategy.
- Prepare the annual budget of Côte d'Ivoire and ensure its execution once approved.
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of Area Managers and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Supervise the planning, scheduling, prioritization and assignment of objectives and tasks to area managers.
- Implement approved programs and work plans for the sales department with the overall objectives of increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to Sales Manager or DCM on initiatives to rectify volume declines and improve national performance.
- Proactively identify development opportunities and customer needs to maximize revenue for the organization.
- Manage the relationship with high potential customers and key accounts.
- Ensure that Area Managers consistently adhere to and apply DCCI's Customer Service Policy standards in their day-to-day interactions with customers.
- Conduct regular visits to outlets to ensure service levels meet organizational standards and barriers to optimal performance are identified and reported.
- Oversee the preparation of periodic sales reports for the attention of the Head of Sales and Marketing.
Requirements
Educations and work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Post-graduate/ professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of Fifteen (15) years of experience in a similar position.
- Relevant experience in the cement industry is a compulsory requirement
