Music Operation Specialist (Music Entertainment Platform)

OBJECTIVES
Maintain and enhance content quality with a focus on music. You will be responsible for curating and designing music-related content within the game. This includes designing, maintaining, and developing in-game content (such as charting/beat mapping) to deliver the best music experience to users.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
You will be responsible for the audio output of a game:
Decide on the music direction for the game, including genres, themes, and overall vibe.
Select appropriate songs for the game.
Curate the song list to align with the game's vision.
Ensure all in-game audio meets the required game standards.
Provide audio technical solutions and produce technical documentation as needed.
You will be responsible for the level design output of a game:
Collaborate with game designers and developers to choose interactive methods based on your music expertise.
Define and propose game content guidelines, including level progression and user journey.
Create level designs for the game's song list.
Ensure the quality of level designs aligns with content guidelines and meets release requirements.
Provide technical solutions and documentation related to gameplay.
Conduct training sessions for collaborators to ensure quality output from collaborators.
QUALIFICATIONS
Music curation skills:
Knowledge of music composition, including music theory, elements, and song structures.
Ability to curate song lists with clear intentions and hypotheses.
Ability to research music trends.
Ability to analyze songs by genre and mood to find similar tracks.
Music production skills:
Familiarity with at least one DAW, such as FL Studio, Cubase, Ableton, or REAPER.
Ability to cut and edit audio clips to enhance user experience, integrating them seamlessly into the game.
Evaluate and advise on audio volume and quality when played through device speakers.
Basic knowledge of MIDI signal output.
Experience with rhythm game-level design:
Basic understanding of game design principles.
Collaborate with the Game Product Owner to design content, establish rules for content creation, and develop demo versions until the final design is achieved.
Possess deep knowledge of the game and create the best content, recognized by all stakeholders.
Ability to read and understand data, interpret correlations between metrics, and understand user behavior to improve user experience.
Ability to conduct playtesting and gather feedback.
Ability to create clear, structured documentation.
Documentation/Planning:
Collaborate with the team and stakeholders (Game Product Owner, Developers, Data Analysts, etc.) to understand challenges and provide the necessary support for content/system requirements.
Produce documentation, including content creation guidelines for the game and agreements for collaborating with stakeholders.
Manage work requests and feedback within set timelines.
Work with the team leader on planning OKRs, content development, etc.
