Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage User-Generated Content (UGC) claims on YouTube for a client based in Thailand, with a specific focus on Thai pop music and sound recordings. The YouTube UGC Claimer will ensure the accurate identification and claiming of Thai sound recordings by leveraging their deep understanding of Thai music and cultural nuances. Additionally, the role involves staying up to date with YouTube’s Content Management System (CMS), copyright policies, and new claiming strategies, while providing regular feedback to the team and verifying client assets with precision.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate identification and manage YouTube UGC claims for Thai sound recordings.
- Actively participate in defined training and development initiatives
- Evaluate the music from compositional and sound recording standpoints, focusing on its melody, lyrics, vocals, backing track and overall sonic environment
- Possess a thorough knowledge of all previous and new claiming strategies to remain flexible and stay
- Ensure accurate claims by timestamping usage and staying updated on client account specifics
- Monitor personal revenue goals and achieve the set goals.Utilize provided applications and extensions effectively to streamline the claiming process
- Collect and analyze revenue data to discover valuable content for the clients
- Other duties that may be assigned to help the company meet goals and objectives
Requirements
- Fluent in both speaking and writing in Thai
- Should have a deep connection with Thai music
- GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L with a certificate / diploma level qualification
- Proficient aural and research skills to identify client’s assets correctly and efficiently
- Good command in MS office, G suite and basic computer fundamentals
- Good communication skills in English language (Verbal / Written)
- Expert knowledge of account specifics and Youtube’s claiming policies
- Extreme attention to detail with little to no mistakes in following operational procedures and policies
- Passion to continually learn about usage and the platform
- Flexibility in adjusting to business strategies, company policies, and procedures
- Sound knowledge in email communication
- Ability to listen to music for long hours
- Positive attitude and a pleasant personality
- Flexibility to work for extended working hours
