About the Role

Our client is seeking a contemporary music composer to help modernize and record their original compositions. The project aims to blend classic songwriting with modern production elements across multiple genres. This opportunity offers emerging composers the chance to work with experienced musicians while bringing fresh perspective to established material.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with band members to understand their original vision
• Compose modern arrangements incorporating multiple genres
• Blend elements of hip hop, pop, country, and rock styles
• Create contemporary production elements for existing songs
• Assist in recording session coordination
• Provide input on modern music production techniques

Requirements

• Basic understanding of music composition and arrangement
• Familiarity with modern music production software (DAW)
• Knowledge of contemporary hip hop, pop, country, and rock production
• Understanding of basic recording techniques
• Ability to work with pre-existing material
• Good communication skills
