DSI Systems Inc., an authorized AT&T Representative partner, has an immediate career opportunity for a skilled Multimedia Production Specialist. You’ll report directly to the Creative Director to support the digital media needs of multiple departments, including marketing, training, and communications, and your work will be used across various platforms, including social media.  You will be responsible for producing engaging and professional video content from concept to completion.

  • A workflow wizard who can organize and manage a digital media library of video, audio, and photography assets.
  • A curious collaborator, able to learn quickly and work with different teams to accomplish a variety of goals
  • A gear guardian, responsible for the production equipment (camera, lights, audio equipment, etc.)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Produce, shoot, and edit short and long-form videos
  • Deliver final video products on time, ensuring they are optimized for various platforms, including web, social media, and presentations
  • Develop animations and motion graphics to complement video content, enhance storytelling, and engage viewers
  • Manage all aspects of the video production process, including pre-production planning, filming, editing, and final delivery
  • Maintain all video production equipment, ensuring it is in good working order, secure, and ready for use at all times
  • Organize the records of all video projects, including footage archives, edit logs, and production notes, ensuring easy access for future use
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video production techniques, software updates, and industry trends, applying new knowledge to improve the quality and efficiency of video content
  • Manage video production schedules and timelines, coordinating with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
  • Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions, offering creative ideas for video content that can support various campaigns and initiatives

Requirements

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop
  • Proficient in capturing content with various camera types
  • Ability to set up camera, lighting, and audio equipment both on-location and in-studio
  • Strong creative and visual storytelling skills, with a keen eye for composition, pacing, and narrative structure
  • Take pride in holding yourself and your work to the highest standards
  • Compelling writing and content editing skills
  • Ability to conduct insightful interviews with stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Aptitude for working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Capable of producing creative content independently or while working with a team
  • Adaptable and resourceful, with a proactive approach to solving challenges and finding creative solutions
  • Photography experience, particularly event coverage, experience is a plus
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Must have a high level of integrity and strong work ethic

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree or higher in digital media, video production, or a related field
  • OR Minimum of 6 years of real-world experience in video production

Physical Demands

  • Employee is required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate video production equipment
  • This job requires the employee to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
