Here at Havebury Housing, we are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Plasterer) to undertake bricklaying, roofing, groundworks, plastering and associated tasks on mainly domestic properties located throughout East Anglia to a high standard. You will also be responsible for conducting mould wash and diagnosing the reason for the mould before carrying out remedial works
Requirements
Outline of Key Responsibilities...
- Undertake bricklaying, roofing, groundworks, plastering works. Works to be completed in line with all relevant C&G qualifications, British Standards, and any other applicable industry best practices.
- Ability to diagnose faults and rectify effectively. Repairs carried out on first visit wherever possible.
- Conducting mould wash and diagnosing the reason for the mould before carrying out remedial works
- Where additional works are required, the ability to provide clear information as to work, duration and materials required.
- Good IT skills, all works issued through Software and Certification to be completed Electronically – Training on the software will be provided.
- Undertake basic works of other trades relative to work undertaken or, as directed by line manager
We are looking for someone who has...
- Full driving licence
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good customer care skills
- Competent user of I.T.
- NVQ qualification in a relevant trade
- 2 years+ Plastering experience
- Social housing experience
