Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As system engineer you will concentrate your activities on the following:
- Management and coordination of the off-line tools and functions (OFTs);
- Technical and software knowledge of scientific algorithms and products, test tools and prototypes;
- Familiarity with procurement, installation and use of the system test tools used for operational validation and commissioning;
- System Operational Validation preparation and support to execution;
- Commissioning preparation and support to execution;
- Coordination between System, GS and other teams for analysis and resolution of issues and for maintenance of the system baseline, including contributing to related reviews and meetings, production of recommendations to MTG level boards;
- Organization and conduct of TRR / TRB;
- Support to Anomaly Review Board (ARB);
- System verification strategy;
- Verification Control Boards (VCB) meetings;
- DOORS in generation of the initial and final VCD.
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Bachelor’s in aerospace engineering or a relevant discipline;
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as System engineer within space domain;
- Experienced with a number of systems. Subject Matter Expert in at least one area or system. Working knowledge of a number of other areas of specialization;
- Works on many phases or sub-tasks of deliverables/projects or entire deliverables/projects of moderate complexity;
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
