Delaney Computer Services seeks a highly motivated, Microsoft Certified, outgoing IT nerd who's customer-oriented and driven by solving and completing IT tasks for a Level I Desktop and Field IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our clients in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing frontline technical support and troubleshooting services related to Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, and hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level client support for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, and remote assistance tools.
- Occasional travel to client sites to maintain and troubleshoot network, servers, and desktops.
- Troubleshooting of low-voltage cabling and network devices such as wireless access points, switches, and IOT devices.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Install, configure, and provide ongoing maintenance for clients' desktop computer hardware, software, and network devices.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor and maintain client systems to ensure security and performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to client hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through self-learning and professional development opportunities.
Preferred qualifications:
- MS-102 | Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert - Certifications
- Cisco CCNA / A+ Security Plus
- Working understanding of basic cybersecurity principals
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Powershell Scripting
- Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
- Knowledge of physical low-voltage cabling principals
- Familiarity with professional services automation (PSA) software.
