We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Business Risk Head, dedicated to fortifying our MSME segment. This role emphasizes proactively addressing business risks through a digital-first approach, ensuring the stability, integrity, and resilience of both digital and non-digital banking operations.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework tailored to the MSME banking ecosystem, with a focus on integrating digital solutions to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively.

Identify, monitor, and address operational risks in MSME products, processes, and services, leveraging technology-driven insights and real-time data analytics.

Establish and lead fraud detection and prevention strategies by utilizing digital tools to proactively safeguard operations.

Collaborate with technology and product teams to design secure, efficient, and digitally enhanced processes that minimize risk while driving business growth and innovation.

Conduct regular, technology-driven assessments of risk control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while adopting best practices.

Lead investigations into operational issues and fraud incidents using digital forensics and analytical tools, delivering actionable recommendations to address root causes and prevent recurrence.

Enhance organizational awareness of risks and fraud by implementing targeted training programs and promoting knowledge-sharing initiatives, with an emphasis on digital risk management.

Work closely with external partners and stakeholders to establish robust fraud monitoring and mitigation strategies within the broader digital ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with operational practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial service industry, with minimum 5 years in business risk, credit risk, or financial forensics and fraud investigation role.
- Experience with a management or technology consulting firm or a similar position at an industry-leading company is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing complex problems.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Science or a related field is preferred.
