WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Housing Sales, you will be responsible for the revenue expansion of a set of direct clients in the mortgage industry. Your assignment will include both partnering with accounts teams and maintaining responsibility for a defined client territory to broaden our revenues. You will define territory / account strategy and execute on the plan to drive data, analtyic and software solutions to your clients.
- Managing, maintaining and expanding revenue streams with mortgage clients that requires skillful planning and execution which leads to exceeding revenue targets and client satisfaction
- Creating a vision, strategy and territory plan to achieve revenue objectives and enable consistent success
- Acting as a strategic advisor driving client engagement with executives and aligning solutions to the customer's business objectives, challenges and needs
- Implement consultative solution selling strategies to build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities that drive consistent sales production
- Leading client business reviews and Executive Briefings that foster client partnerships
- Negotiating pricing, terms and conditions on large contracts
- Identifying and removing any barriers to achieving goals
- Providing a voice of the industry to our product, marketing and executive teams
- Orchestrate, align and facilitate internal resources that align to external client strategies and priorities
- Motivating and leading cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationships that influences others to drive strategy
- Accountable for data and reporting accuracy (e.g. dashboards, pipelines, forecast reporting)
WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND LOOKS LIKE:
- Detailed business knowledge of the housing market and experience with managing client relationships in the industry
- Proven track record of exceeding financial / revenue budgets
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with strong ability to manage, influence and execute
- Extensive experience successfully negotiating complex agreements
- Creative mindset that looks to solve client needs while challenging the status quo.
- Strategic thinker and problem solver, with high level of passion / commitment to succeed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully relate to people at all levels and communicate strategy
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Knowledge of, and experience with, Experian's products and industry
- Willingness to travel
Required Education and/or Experience:
- 10+ years experience within mortgage industry and/or information services sector and understanding solutions across the mortgage lifecycle
- BS/BA Degree in general business, marketing or related major required, MBA Preferred
