Aim of the position: Make sure our video data ingestion servers receive and record all incoming data (picture and voice) from the broadcasters we are monitoring, ensure interruptions are flagged, actioned on and eliminated.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of the global TV recording system (1.000 TV channels)
  • 1st level tech support Monday to Friday, weekends and bank holidays for the global TV recording system 
  • On-site 1st level tech support for the main TV recording hub in Cologne (approx. 450 TV channels)
  • Output of the monitored system is approx. 8.5M hours of footage per year 
  • Monitoring and implementing of OTT/Streaming capture projects
  • Shift: Flexible working hours ( 8-10 hours per week - not more than 40 hours/ month )

  • Streaming squad
  • TV Squad 
  • Ingestion Tribe in Technology unit
  • Recording partners located all over the world
