Job Summary
The MIPS Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing the maintenance and integration of mechanical, instrumentation, and process systems within the plant. This role ensures all systems operate efficiently and safely while aligning with the company's operational goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all mechanical and instrumentation systems.
- Implement and monitor maintenance strategies and schedules to minimize downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for system failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and system performance records.
- Develop training programs for staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in MIPS or similar engineering roles.
- Professional certification in relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Management) is an added advantage.
