GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Director – ESP Properties for Mindshare Delhi Key Clients to join us.

In this role, you will be working in Gurgaon office primarily focusing towards Maruti Suzuki India Limited as an account.
 
Reporting of the role
This role will report to Maruti Business Head in Mindshare and to ESP Delhi Head

  • Access and opportunity to interact directly with key right holders in pop culture i.e. Movies & Live Events and Sports
  • Independence to manage big ticket properties for MSIL account on an end-to-end basis
 
In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
  • Familiarize with the agency setup locally and understand the integrated work approach with various teams like planning, buying, finance, ESP etc
  • Exposure and grasp of projects in pipeline along with day-to-day activities on various brands of MSIL
  • Start interaction and engage with select right holders in Live Entertainment and Sports practice
  • Become part of MSIL’s weekly JSR’s to understand the working closely.
In six months:
  • Lead and develop proposals customised to client’s brief(s) by working closely with partners.
  • Manage and work with the team to continuously be in the pulse of what’s happening at client’s end and be on top of upcoming client’s campaigns 
  • Orchestrate the inputs from the internal account teams and clients to mine out customized solutions from right holders’ network  
  • Gain industry expertise in terms of key relationships and keen understanding of modus operandi at right holder’s end
In twelve months:
  • Start closing opportunities proposed within Live, Entertainment & Sports domain with client by demonstrating a strong focus on strategy, integration and industry expertise
  • Build strong relationships and nurture new ones with partners from Live, Entertainment and Sports industry
  • Initiate and drive key projects with agency units and clients with a revenue-focused approach
 
What your day job looks like at GroupM: 
  • Constant interaction with client and internal teams to be updated on upcoming client’s briefs and campaigns
  • Being part of brainstorming and ideation sessions to integrate Live, Entertainment and Sports solutions in larger campaigns
  • Constant interaction with right holders in Live Entertainment and Sports industry to be updated on the upcoming calendar at least 6 months in advance
  • Execution of deals closed
 
Minimum qualifications: 
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Live Industry or brand solutions
  • Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities
  • Ability to conceptualize and leverage use of live, entertainment and sports opportunities for brands for active engagement with consumers & meeting brand challenges / objectives 
  • Deal negotiation and closure skills with various stakeholders in live , entertainment and sports for a win-win proposition for all parties concerned 
  • Minimum post-graduation degree/diploma in media and communications from a reputed institute
