Job Summary
As a Mill Wright Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment within our facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and longevity of the machines, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, align, and maintain machinery, including grinding and milling equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
- Perform repairs and overhauls on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to facilitate routine maintenance schedules.
- Document maintenance activities and report on equipment performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Train and mentor junior technicians in best practices and safety protocols.
- Participate actively in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and environmental guidelines.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mill Wright Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
