We are looking for a Frontend Developer to work at Devexperts. We’re building and supporting a number of projects with different complexity – from chrome extensions and client portals to full-blown capital markets trading applications.
Technology stack includes, but is not limited to: TypeScript / React / Jest / Styled Components
We expect the Frontend Developer to:
- Be a team-player – know the benefits of team work,
- Participate in daily meetings, perform core reviews and follow company standards,
- Have an ability to take ownership of codebase and tasks up to completion,
- Create browser (and maybe SSR with NextJS) applications with quality and performance in mind.
Must-have skills:
- Deep knowledge of JS (ES6+),
- Proficiency in HTML / CSS, including advanced practices (semantic HTML and accessibility),
- TypeScript and React hands-on experience,
- Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries or preprocessors (Styled Components, SCSS, css-modules, tailwind),
- English – spoken and written.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Reactive Programming (RxJS / Observable pattern),
- Experience with server-side rendering (NextJS),
- Unit and end-2-end testing (Jest / Cypress / Playwright),
- Web performance analysis (DevTools profiling / Lighthouse Web Vitals),
- Functional programming (fp-ts library / lodash / Algebraic Data Types),
- Accessibility WCAG awareness.
