About the team

The UX Writing team delivers clear and concise copy to help Tide members run and grow their business. We work closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, User Research, Product, and Engineering, to create and deliver intuitive user experiences.  

About the role

We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented UX Writer to work across a range of our products. You’ll help to shape the future of our products and guide members through journeys with intuitive copy. Your work will have a significant impact, helping members to streamline their admin and get paid for their services. 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver copy for end-to-end user journeys 
  • Collaborate with Design, User Research, Product, and Engineering throughout the product development life cycle
  • Advocate for the value of UX writing and user-centred design across the business
  • Communicate the rationale for your copy approach to stakeholders 
  • Contribute to Tide’s copy guidelines to raise the bar for copy across the business
  • Stay updated on best practices and industry trends to spot opportunities to improve our processes 

What we’re looking for

  • 1.5+ years experience as a UX Writer or Content Designer, ideally within a similar sector
  • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to distil complicated concepts into plain English
  • A data-driven approach to crafting copy
  • Understanding of user research and testing 
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient Figma user
  • Quick learner with an ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Great communication skills
  • Comfortable working with style guides to ensure consistency 
  • Experience of balancing multiple priorities
  • Adept at working and collaborating in an Agile environment
  • Passion for inclusive, user-centred design
